The Maine Children's Cancer Program (MCCP) provides comprehensive treatment for children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders. With four pediatric hematology/oncology physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a team of specialized nurses, social workers and research associates, MCCP offers a wealth of resources to young patients and their families in a caring and close-to-home setting.

In addition to the outstanding clinical expertise of its staff, MCCP has an exceptionally strong research program. It is a member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG) - the premier childhood cancer research organization with more than 2000 physician-members world wide. MCCP is actively involved in clinical research trials through COG which offer young patients access to the latest and best therapies under investigation.
